SUISUN, CA - All for One from South San Francisco, CA went undefeated on March 27 to qualify for the Western Shoot Out in Las Vegas on August 21-22. They beat Reno Express from Reno, NV, who was bumped in the first round, but fought hard through the ´ bracket to make the championship game. In a tough hitting game, All for Fun beat Reno Express 18-3, leaving no doubt who was king of the field. Team Woo took third.
Regulators from Richmond, CA beat Outkast for the Western Shootout Qualifier in the men’s E division. This tournament is scheduled for April 28. Outkast forced an if-game in game 10, as they beat Regulators in game 9 for Regulator’s first loss of the day. The if-game stayed very tight throughout, with Outkast leading by three runs at the bottom of the 7th inning. The Regulators refused to quit, however, and came back to win the game 12-9 in the bottom of the last inning. Team 40 took third place in the tournament.
