SACRAMENTO, CA - After winning the April Fools Tournament in Woodland, Get Spanked went on to take the Women’s B/C/D NIT two weeks later. Get Spanked, from Ceres, CA were bumped to the loser’s bracket in an agonizing defeat against the San Jose Storm, 9-8. After a nail-biting win over Lady Legendz/Ibwild.com, Get Spanked took on the San Jose Storm winning the first match 18-12. In the double dip if game, Get Spanked turned it loose again and won 16-11. This is their fourth win in a row, including two wins in March at the 5th Annual Early Bird Tournament and the Martinez Mayhem Tournament.

In the B division, Redding’s Finest Softball Club went 4-0 to win the tournament. No Drama, from San Lorenzo, CA, took second, losing to Redding 18-7 in the final match-up.

Across town, the 5th Annual Worth Invitation Slow-Pitch Mixed was held, with two divisions and nine teams. Ruff & Wild Softball Club went 5-0 to easily win the D division. Rug Bugs, from Sacramento, CA won the B division, going 4-1 for the weekend.
