FOLSOM, CA – Hot hitting helped the Davis Lady Demons, from Davis, CA, to the top spot in the ASA/Boombah Bash 4 Cash Tournament held April 25-26 at Lembi Park in Folsom, CA.
Rylie Carlier hit three home runs for the weekend including a two-run home run in the first inning of the championship game. The Tornadoes finished in second place with a 3-2 record.
“The whole Davis Lady Demons team was very impressive at the plate,” said director Keith DeGeorge. “Rocklin Hype beat them 2-1 in the first game on Saturday but after that the Demons averaged 10 runs per game.”
The Davis Lady Demons finished with a 4-1 record.
The Rocklin Hype, from Rocklin, CA, and CC Comets of Roseville, CA, finished in a tie for third place in the ASA “A” tournament.
