SPARKS, NV – It’s no April Fools Day joke. Come April 1, 2010 the long awaited restaurant and sports bar at Golden Eagle Regional Park is about to become reality.
The 3,600 square foot facility will be the finishing touch to the $28 million Golden Eagle Regional Park. In July, the City of Sparks awarded the lease contract to SES Nevada, a corporation which also owns the Little Waldorf Saloon in Reno and Reds Old 395 Grill in Carson City.
SES Director of Operations Mark Schloss said, “We are traveling to other ball parks to see what has been done. We want to be unique. “
Schloss also said they are already going to memorabilia auctions and looking for sports themed artifacts to decorate their restaurant.
No name has been given to the restaurant yet and the number of seats and menu is also still being worked on.
Tables are planned for the outside deck area and sliding doors instead of the existing windows are also in discussion.
