For twenty-seven seasons, Softball West Magazine has been the West's premier source for softball news. The publication started in 1983 as Sierra Softball Magazine and as readership grew, Sierra Softball became Softball West Magazine which now covers nine western states. The magazine continually provides up-to-date tournament reports, new equipment previews and features on personalities, organizations and trends in our sport.

Each issue of Softball West has reports on the four regions below. This provides regionalized coverage for locals as well as being informative for all our readers.

1. Northwest (Washington, Oregon and Idaho),
2. North (Northern California and Northern Nevada)
3. South (Southern California and Southern Nevada)
4. Four Corners (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah)

Each of which features local teams, events and people.

Our web site is intended as a complement to the magazine, expanding its coverage while introducing Softball West to those of you unfamiliar with us. There is a lot of new material here, as well as some of the best stories and photos collected from our current and past issues.
